Mobile extraction unit – Welding pipe sections

Initial situation

The customer welds large pipe sections together at different locations, each with different diameters. The weld seams of the pipe sections are ground on a mobile grinding machine on the inside and/or outside diameter.

The clever solution from L+M AG extraction systems

A mobile extraction system is required that is easy to handle in order to cope with the multiple production sites. The engineering team at L+M AG Extraction systems worked with the customer to develop a compact and easy-to-move extraction system.
The extraction system is mounted on a platform. For use, the platform is first leveled, then the flexible metal extraction hose is installed on the grinding head, electrically connected and now the extraction system is ready for use at a wide variety of locations with little effort.
