Pre-separator – better to separate coarse particles beforehand

A pre-separator can be installed upstream to prevent coarse particles such as granulate, long-fiber fluff, chips and shavings from entering the extraction system directly and to protect the filter cartridges. Various pre-separator principles

Pre-separators work in different ways. There is mechanical pre-separation, pre-separation with a cyclone effect or pre-separation with a contact medium such as water.

Flying sparks can cause a filter fire, especially during grinding, cutting and welding processes. Safety is guaranteed by an appropriate pre-separator.
