Production of bitumen rolls without dust

Background

The customer is a leading manufacturer of sustainable waterproofing, insulation, soundproofing, and green roofing solutions for building owners in the roofing, building envelope, and civil engineering sectors.
During the production process, sand is sprinkled onto the bitumen rolls (derived from petroleum), which must then be vacuumed up.

The smart solution from L+M AG Extraction Systems

The solution consists of a high-performance extraction system, the VarioCell 8.64. This is fitted with long-life filter cartridges instead of filter bags and is designed for two-shift operation.

The ductwork will be completely redesigned and three times as many extraction points will be installed as in the past.

Tight deadlines – handled with ease!

The schedule for dismantling the existing extraction system, the new installation and pipework assembly for the VarioCell extraction system is tight. The entire project is carried out professionally within two weeks, coinciding with the winter break and therefore a production shutdown.

The customer requests a special paint finish to match the existing machinery, which we are happy to provide.
