The company operates in the medical technology sector and is the world’s largest supplier of orthopaedic implants.

Two VarioCell 6.36 C extraction systems are used to extract the chrome steel grinding dust at the individual workstations via a piping system. Active explosion suppression prevents an explosion caused by chrome steel dust. The extraction system from L+M AG ensures that no harmful chromium steel particles get into the airways or eyes of employees.
