Light load (particle sizes from 1-10 μm)

These are liquid and solid particles in the aerosol range that become visible through dispersion. This phenomenon occurs when cooling lubricants are used, whether in the form of pure oil or emulsions. It manifests itself particularly at moderate machining speeds and low cooling lubricant pressure.

Heavy load (particle sizes from 0.01-10 μm)

The liquid and solid particles in the aerosol area become visible through dispersion, especially when cooling lubricants in the form of pure oil or emulsions are used. This occurs more frequently when working at high cutting speeds and/or when the pressure of the cooling lubricant is increased.
