Apprenticeship as a Anlagen- und Apparatebauer/in EFZ

Our specialties include welded constructions for a wide range of applications as well as the manufacture of mobile and central filter systems with cross-industry solutions for extraction technology.

This is what you can achieve with us…

  • As a Anlagen- und Apparatebauer/in EFZ, you will use technical drawings to manufacture metal housings for machines, metal cabinets, steel structures, pipe systems, parts of production plants and even railroad or cable car components.
  • You process sheet metal, metal profiles and pipes. You will use various tools and machines for sawing, bending and welding, as well as equipment such as computer-controlled folding and bending machines, welding robots and laser cutting systems.
  • To be able to carry out your work as a Anlagen- und Apparatebauer/in EFZ, you need to know the properties and applications of all materials well. To form a metal body from a flat piece of sheet metal, transfer the information from the design drawing to the sheet metal. This requires an exact procedure according to technical drawings.
  • You assemble individual parts into systems and appliances in a team with other specialists. Your tasks will also include maintenance and repair work. This job requires men and women who are proactive, like to get stuck in and, above all, want to be part of a team.

  • Very good Real school certificate or Sekundar school certificate.
  • For this apprenticeship, you will need manual skills, a practical and technical understanding and good spatial awareness.
  • Your apprenticeship lasts four years. During this time, you will learn everything you need to know to become a plant and apparatus engineer.
