Pre-separator systems

Spark extinguishing system to prevent filter fires

With certain dusts from cellulose and metal processing, there is a constant risk of filter fire. If the sensor of this high-performance separator detects sparks being sucked in, the air supply is immediately interrupted so that the spark does not reach the inside of the extraction system.

The spark extinguishing system consists of coordinated components: Spark detector, evaluation electronics, actual separator. The high-performance separator with its collection container can be installed at any point in the pneumatic transport channel. In the event of an alarm, the control system takes all measures to raise the alarm and switch off machines and fans in stages. The smallest sparks are detected and extinguished using highly sensitive infrared sensors.

The spark extinguishing system complies with VDS guideline 2106.

Spark pre-separator

If larger quantities of materials need to be separated, you should use a pre-separator. This is placed near the workstation or the central unit.

Cyclone pre-separator

The cyclone separator is characterized by low acquisition costs, low space requirements, high operational reliability and low maintenance requirements. It works largely independently of the operating pressure and operating temperature.

For all dry, coarse and free-flowing dusts with relatively large dust volumes.

Pendulum flaps

Dust discharge

Pendulum flaps are used for the discontinuous discharge of separated dust from filter systems into dust collection containers provided for this purpose.

Rotary valve

Continuous discharge of dust

The rotary valve is used to continuously discharge large quantities of separated dust from filter systems into special dust collection containers.

The housing has a built-in cellular wheel with replaceable sealing lips and an attached geared motor.
